Jennifer Walters vs Matt Murdock

Warning: This story contains spoilers for the Thursday episode “Ribbit and Rip It” from She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. It’s Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) versus Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) in the penultimate episode of Marvel’s Strong woman. After it’s revealed that potential boyfriend Josh (Trevor Salter) stole Gene’s radioactive gamma blood for the malevolent She-Hulk and leader of the Intelligencia HulkKing, superhero lawyers take on a new case: Eugene Patilio (Brandon Stanley), aka Leap Frog. But when a conflict of interest is established with super suit tailor Luke Jacobson (Griffin Matthews), there is Larger Conflicts of interest involving the trumpet-headed Hell’s Kitchen hero: the vigilante Daredevil.

On behalf of the law firm LA GLK&H, Jen Eugene/Leap Frog represents when he sues Jacobson for manufacturer defect, negligence, strict liability, and breach of warranty following the malfunctions of his custom-made frog suit. Jacobson appoints New York attorney Matt Murdock, who is asking the court to dismiss the application to force the defendants to provide the defendant’s list of clients because it is not relevant to the litigation. (And Matt, as one of Jacobson’s superhero clients, wants to privately defend against this invasion of privacy.)

The blind attorney argues in court: “The nature of Mr. Jacobson’s business, which is to bring claims exclusively to superheroes, necessitates anonymity. May I remind you that the Sokovia Agreements have been voided.” “We’re not talking about celebrities, but superheroes who have enemies who will try to hurt them, and the people close to them. Those who didn’t ask to be a part of this life.”

He concludes, “If this information is not protected, not only will it ruin my client’s career, it can put a lot of people at great risk – and throughout one man’s misuse of the suit.” Case closed.

Over drinks at the Legal Ease bar, Jen asks Matt why a lawyer from New York traveled to Los Angeles to look into a product liability case. “Luke Jacobson made two new suits for me, so I owe him one,” explains Matt, secretly pointing to Daredevil’s new red and yellow suit.

Jane is summoned to a supposedly urgent meeting with Todd Phelps (John Bass) – “that tech big brother with a She-Hulk fetish” – who faces conflict with the African nation of Wakanda after getting at auction the original Wakanda War Spear. Jin was called away repeatedly When a Leapfrog claims to be under attack on his way to his famous secret lair: The Lily Pad.

The She-Hulk smashes Daredevil, “ketchup and mustard,” a color-striped dressed vigil attacking the Leapfrog. She reveals to him that he’s dead, which explains that there’s a misunderstanding: Leapfrog is the bad guy, and Luke Jacobson will flip if they don’t rescue Matt’s agent from Jen’s agent. After the She-Hulk/Daredevil team completes a lobby fight series, Leapfrog is captured and Jane smashes Matt (this time, it’s else kind of smashing).

After Matt gets home to Hell’s Kitchen (he’ll come back to it Daredevil: Born Again On Disney+), She-Hulk attends the Southern California Law Awards. But moments after accepting her Lawyer of the Year award, intelligence hijacked the event, broadcasting her most intimate details — and a video with Josh — to attendees, including her family and friends.

This is the truth presented by IntelligenciaSays a distorted voice.She-Hulk does not deserve your attention. It does not deserve your praise. She is not worthy of the power she stole from the Temple.”

In a fury, the savage She-Hulk crashes the party and gets her hands on a masked member of Intelligencia – only to be confronted by heavily armed agents from the Damage Control Department.

Before the end of the final season of Episode 9 (streaming October 13th on Disney+), Marvel Studios has released new images from Strong woman Episode 8, “Ribbit and Rip It.” See them in the gallery below.
